Erick and I are lucky couple because most of the married couples around us already have children and they give us advise on the things that we are expected to experience in this journey to parenthood.
One of Erick's colleague even lend us a book.. "What to expect when you're expecting..." which seems to be very helpful for me because whenever i feel something odd... i refer to that book to check whether what I was feeling was normal. So far, I've never felt anything that signifies something that is not good for our baby.
As I am writing this blog, I'm way over my first trimester... Currently in my third month actually and that first 3 months made me experience the following:
1) Food cravings: I craved for... dinuguan, ice cream, palabok, cake, pinakbet
actually, i was very inconsistent with my cravings... what first comes to my mind.. i should eat or else it will leave me feeling sad..
2) Extreme urge to urinate: this was one of the hardest part during the first trimester. I need to pee almost seven times before I get to sleep.
3) Increased sense of smell: also very hard for me because of the foul smell in our apartment due to the cat that has died in the ceiling. I feel like my sense of smell was like that of the bomb sniffing dog wherein I can smell something even if it's far away.
4) Super sleepy
5) Headaches
6) Easily tired
7) Forgetfulness
8) Feeling a bit depressed because I will be gaining weight soon...
So far that's all I can remember... It was a hard first 3 months but luckily, I have Erick with me to support me whenever I'm feeling down. He always finds a way to cheer me up on my depressed moment. Oh gosh, luck me! :-)
